Here’s what I do at Kim Loy Studios in Amsterdam: every client receives a follow-up email the day after their treatment.

This automated email (yes, automated—you don’t have to send it manually) does two important things:

1. Checks in with the client. It asks how their brows are feeling the next day and gives them space to share concerns. That alone builds trust and reassures them you care.
2. Provides aftercare instructions. This keeps them confident about healing.
3. Asks for a review. The email includes a direct link to my Google Review page with a simple request: If you’re happy with your brows and service, I’d appreciate it if you could leave a review.

That’s it. No bribing, no awkwardness. Just a polite ask at the right time when the client is still excited about their results.

Why This Works So Well

Of course, asking is only part of the equation. To consistently earn five-star reviews, you also need to make sure:

• Your PMU technique is excellent, so results look natural and polished.
